Floating vs in-content — which should I use?

Floating is the simplest site-wide install (side tab on every page). Use in-content (shortcode or block) when you want search in a specific layout location such as the header.

Do I need to paste an API key?

After Connect and setup, Floating and block/shortcode installs use your linked GOGO configuration. You should not need to paste service credentials into the theme.

What is AI mode?

Where enabled on your plan, visitors can ask questions in plain language in the search UI. Crawl-time AI still improves keywords and descriptions even when AI mode is off.

Where do Search Metrics appear?

In the GOGO GET Search Metrics admin page (and in the GOGO portal for deeper charting). Product metrics appear on supported plans.

Does this update my live site when I use a staging/dev build?

No. Only publishing a new Stable tag via SVN updates Directory installs. Develop against a staging WordPress site with
define('GOGOGET_ENV', 'test');inwp-config.php. -
Can I manage multiple sites?

This plugin focuses on the current WordPress site. Additional sites in your GOGO organization are managed in the GOGO portal Site Manager.
